INTRODUCTION

Reliable Products is located at 1300 Enterprise Road (Highway 27 North) in Geneva, Alabama. Reliable Products is primarily a manufacturer of aluminum grilles, registers, diffusers and louvers. Reliable markets its products through wholesalers, manufacturing reps, OEM accounts, and commercial contractors (louvers only). The company's product lines serve residential, commercial, and industrial trade, and are delivered throughout the existing global marketplace.

BRIEF HISTORY

The company has grown from a family-owned business, originally known as Reliable Sheet Metal. In the early 60's Reliable Sheet Metal incorporated (changing their name to Reliable Metal Products). The business continued to grow and moved to its current facility in 1969. The original stockholders sold the company in 1984 to independent investors. This acquisition resulted in a name change to Reliable, Inc., and provided additional capital, thus facilitating continued growth. In 1988, Hart & Cooley, Inc. of Holland, Michigan purchased Reliable, Inc. The company name changed to Reliable Products. In December 1999, Tomkins Industries purchased Reliable Products. Tomkins' home office is located in England, with most of its' business in the United States.
